Jinggangshan National Forest Park is located in the Luoxiao Mountains of southwestern Jiangxi Province, close to the border with Hunan Province. Covering dense evergreen broadleaf forests and rugged terrain, the park protects a unique blend of subtropical flora and fauna. Geographically, Jinggangshan is known for its granite peaks, steep ridges, deep valleys, and numerous streams. The park serves as an important ecological reserve safeguarding unique species such as the Chinese giant salamander and diverse bird life. Historically, the area holds immense cultural and revolutionary importance as the birthplace of the Chinese Red Army and the Chinese Communist revolution in the late 1920s.
